The Yellow Line metro route in Bangalore runs from Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road (RV Road) to Bommasandra. The metro's latest line was opened on August 10, 2025, by the Prime Minister. The line was thrown open for use by the public the day after, on the 11th. The Bengaluru metro map shows the layout of the 19.15-kilometre line and its 16 stations.

The metro provides access to all parts as lines cross one another. It can be used by those living in Prestige Evergreen, Varthur, to reach areas in the south. Here are the key features of the Yellow Line:

  • The status of the Yellow Line is that it is now fully in use. The line is elevated throughout, from the beginning to its end.
  • The Yellow Line metro route in Bengaluru runs from RV Road to Delta Electronics Bommasandra. It runs 19.15 kilometres and has an interchange with the Green Line at RV Road.
  • A fifth train set will start on Kannada Rajyotsava. It will bring up the frequency of service to 15 minutes from 19 minutes.
  • There are 16 stations along the entire expanse of the line. A few of these are Jayadeva Hospital, BTM Layout, Bommanahalli, Singasandra, and Electronic City.
  • Biocon, Infosys, and Delta Electronics have funded the building of three metro stations on the line. These are named the Biocon Hebbagodi, Infosys Foundation Konappana Agrahara, and Delta Electronics Bommasandra metro stations.
  • The timings of the trains of the Yellow Line in Bengaluru are:
    • The first train is at 6 a.m. from Mondays to Saturdays. On Sundays, the first train is at 7 a.m.
    • The last train from RV Road will be at 11:55 p.m. From Bommasandra, the last train is at 10:42 p.m.
